Framed Pentagram Blue Rose

$3,000.00

Plants have a way of brightening our surroundings, unfortunately their beauty tends to wax and wayne over time. My goal with this series is to freeze a moment in time, to preserve its beauty to enjoy time and time again.

My largest rose to date at 5in across has 17 individual petals and 10 leaves, and the variety of colors that come and go throughout combined with the spiral patterned petals gives something new and beautiful to see at any angle. While a pentagram has many different meanings is certainly portrays a level of strength and power the counters the delicate nature of a rose wonderfully. All mounted inside an equally dark frame that demands attention and accentuates the symmetrical nature of the pieces by continuously drawing your eyes to the center.

I find my inspiration in the natural world, from the motion of a crashing waterfall to the warmth of a blooming flower. I work to replicate those moments in glass as a way of preserving their memory, to freeze the energy and emotions that wax and wane over time for others to ponder and enjoy again and again.

Dimensions: 13in W , 13in H , 5in D

Material: Borosilicate glass wood and plaster frame

Mounting: Ready for hanging with key hole hangers

I believe the human consciousness connects us all, and the actions we take in this life echo through each other whether we want them to or not. With that in mind I have chosen to devote my life to creating visual art in the hopes it makes a positive impact on the world around us. If each of my pieces can spark a conversation, or inspire someone to make a change, or even brings out a single smile it was all worth while. While I hope my art lives on long after I’m gone it’s not about being remembered, it’s about continuing to encourage the positive aspects of the human experience that I feel are most important.
